About The Coronation Ceremony 2011
Under the patronage of His Highness the Crown Prince and Chairman of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Dubai, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, on behalf of His Highness the Crown Prince, crowned on Sunday 4 December 2011 Arab leading and administrative figures who have made achievements and initiatives in their fields of business, and elite companies in the Arab region, in a grand ceremony organized by the Taawjeel Academy at the Royal Armani Hall – Burj Khalifa in Dubai.
For his part, Mr. Pierre Moukarzel, President of the Tatweej Academy for Excellence Awards, stressed in his speech the importance of the success achieved by the crowned in order to develop the administrative performance of Arab institutions, considering that the coronation of this elite of leading and administrative figures who have made important achievements in their fields of work, is to highlight part of the images of Arab creativity, and Moukarzel announced the launch of a coronation award for the best young executive director in the Arab region, to receive the award during the 2012
coronation ceremony. Then Dr. Rifaat Al-Faouri, Director General of the Arab Organization, who stressed the importance of crowning Arab personalities and leading companies in the field of wise and distinguished management, which deserved gold medals through their efforts.
Then, His Highness Sheikh Majid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, on behalf of His Highness the Crown Prince, crowned 14 local and Arab personalities, and 32 companies that had a clear imprint in the field of excellence and quality.
The names of the crowned included His Excellency Lieutenant General Dhahi Khalfan Tamim, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, Major General Ashraf Rifi, Director General of the Internal Security Forces in Lebanon, Dr. Hani bin Mohammed bin Ahmed Abu Ras, Secretary General of Jeddah Governorate, Eng. Hussain Nasser Lootah, Director General of Dubai Municipality, Salem Khamis Al Shaer, Director General of the UAE eGovernment, Eng. Fouad Makhzoumi, Chairman of the National Dialogue Party in the Republic of Lebanon, Jawad Al-Redha, President of the Federation of Commercial Computer Programs in the Middle East, and Dr. Khalid bin Sami Mohammed. Hussein, Dean of the Deanship of the College of Information Technology at King Abdulaziz University – Jeddah.
The coronation also included Nabil Itani, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Director General of the National Investment Development Corporation in Lebanon, Haitham Omar, Director General of the Economic and Social Development Fund – Council for Development and Reconstruction in Lebanon, Mahmoud Amin, Chairman and General Manager of the International Security Company, Claude Abu Nader Hindi, Lebanese journalist, Jean Al-Asmar, Mayor of Hazmieh in Lebanon, and Violet Majdalani Katrib, Chairman of the Administrative Board of the Traders Association of Furn El Chebbak in Lebanon. The coronation also included a group of companies in the field of excellence and quality.
